Certain apps wont run via remote desktop using win2k client

Basically I am using a win2k machine to remote desktop into an XP machine. The win2k client doesnt allow you to choose color depth and stuff like that. I am trying to run Nero Vision on the remote desktop and I get an error about screen res and color depth but I am not able to change it. Any way to bypass this to force Nero Vision to run?

i dont think you can do video over rdc. I know i remote to my mce with xp and cant use certain programs to edit out the comercials but i can at that pc. Sucks.

Im pretty much just encoding a dvd. I had the program started with a remote desktop session from xp to xp and it worked. Then when I logged on with 2k, it wouldnt let me switch to it, but the program was still running. I tried to force the switch with the task manager and it crashed.
