Anyone give it a try? If so, thoughts? Impressions?

We have about two dozen CentOS 7 servers, and I've been liking RHEL 8, so I'm eager to give this release a try.

Spinning up a VM on our vBlock now....

Part of me wants to say "about dang time" but I understand that RH7.7 had to come first. Ill prolly spin up a vm to check it out.

So far, I tried it on my home tower while I was uploading the .iso to our data center. It failed immediately on boot, with an error about the Ryzen processor. Hopefully, I'll have better luck on the vBlock.

So far, visually, it doesn't seem much different than 7. I was expecting it to look just like RHEL8, with different logos. However, I was able to install it as a VM and then again on a laptop without issue.

Did you understand what they meant by CentOS is now going to be a "midstream" rolling release like fedora?

Yes, which is nice, and somewhat takes some steam from the sails of Fedora, it seems.
