I switched cases this weekend from a Qpack to a Coolermaster Centurion 541. The main purpose of this switch was cooling. Its hot this summer and the Qpack was not keeping up with a overclocked Pentium D.

Specs:
Intel Pentium D 920 @ 3.36Ghz
Asus P5LD2-VM
2GB Patriot DDR2 667
WD 74 GB Raptor
Maxtor MaxLine III 300GB
EVGA 7900GT KO 560/880Mhz (Core/Memory)
Audigy 2 ZS Gamer
Antec Neo HE 500W
Lite-On SHM-165H6S w/ LightScribe

Not only did I switch cases but upgraded some cooling parts.

Cpu heatsink went from Coolermaster Hyper L3 to Zalman CNPS 8000
Video heatsink went from EVGA stock cooler that covers the memory to Zalman VF900
(Note: Thermalright V-1 Ultra will not work with this case and a 7900gt unless you remove the upper 80mm fan 38 or 25 mm depth, the fan on the V-1 Ultra needs this spot.)

I switched my thermal paste from AC5 to Zalman Super Grease.

Fans:
Front: Artic Cooling 120x25 mm
Back: Artic Cooling 80x38 mm

Temp. Diffrence

CPU:
Idle: 46 to 42
Load: 68 to 58

Video:
Idle: 48 to 42
Load: 66 to 60

MB:
Idle: 32 to 28
Load: 38 to 32

Note: All temps. are C and room temp. was 25

With the increased sound from more fans this system is louder, but not buy much. Since it is under the desk now instead of next to me I can not notice the diffrence. The two real diffrence is the high pitched whine from the video card is gone but the harddrive mounting is not as secure as the Qpack so the vibration from the raptor is greater.

Overall I'm pleased with the switch and can't wait to upgrade the internals to Core 2 Duo.

TRAITOR!!! Dieeeeee!!!! Just kidding, enjoy your new setup :D! I'm going to be modding my X-Qpack to use ATX boards soon and do a few cooling/hard drive re-orientations while I'm at it. I love the size and look of the case.
