• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Is it possible to restrict others from posting in your worklog thread before you are ready? Too often I see someone who has 8 posts to make with all the work they have done so far, but it's interrupted by someone going

"NOICE"

or asking a question that gets asked in the next post or two.

just close your thread until you're ready to post
I think only genmay subscribers can do this though

When I do finally start my worklog, I'll run into the same thing, (mostly because I'm on 56k), but I was just going to ignore all input till I finished the 'initial worklog', and then respond to all comments that had been made in one mass 'reply'

This would be something you work out with the Case mod moderators...each forum has it's specific guidelines and the moderator would be the one to determine what is an appropriate action.

Maybe just state in your first post, for anyone not to ask questions in the thread but rather directly through PMs.

Im sure there are a few people who wouldnt mind a question here or there on "hey how did you do that", which would need clarification.

But by the time some of the 50,000 members here read it, and post questions/comments.. Its no longer a work log.
