Hey all...I've got an e6420 running at 425 x 8 = 3400mhz. I've got the CAS5 G.Skill (..nq) DDR2800 2x1gb sticks in there, running at 797 (15:16). I can get the RAM to run at 4-4-4-12 normally, but I was wondering whether stability could decrease when the cpu is overclocked alot. Right now the RAM is running at stock speeds and CR1. Would there be a tangible difference in games or general usage with the tighter timings? Or should I just leave it alone?

Ram stabibity at cas 4 has nothing to do with whether your CPU is overclocked or not. If your ram is stable at 800Mhz cas 4-4-4-12-1T cmd rate then it should be at any CPU speed.
