if you use all active DP -> HDMI or DVI adapters it should work in your setup.
You're expecting it to push fifty million pixels? The fury X should have had 6xMiniDp 1.2a so that we could do 6x4K @ 60Hz Freesync.

What would you even do with that?
Gaming Eyefinity 5 Unreleased
ASUS STRIX R9 Fury DC3 4GB [1xDL-DVI, 1xHDMI(1.4), 3xDP(1.2)] - Finally a high end single GPU card with at least 5 outputs. Although I'd rather it have another DP rather than an HDMI and I'd also rather it be a Fury X.
Are the 3x DP connectors independent or linked together thru an onboard MST 1.2 hub?
If they are independent then the Fury's are the first cards in a *LONG* time that can handle 5x 30" using MST 1.2 hubs. A bonus is that by avoiding the DVI you also don't have the tearing problem.
Are you thinking about rebuilding your rig?

According to AMD, the Fury X can drive 6 DP monitors from its 3 ports. As far as I know the Fury non-X should be the same.
Nah, at least not 5 x 30", It's too big. But dell does have 25" 2560x1440 monitors with really slim bezels. I might go that route.
But I think I just want a really huge 4K screen.
5x 30" is 20 megapixels, a 4K screen is only 8 megapixels. Mind you that might actually be a benefit as it lowers the VRAM and GPU requirements, apart from the bezel issue.
The issue is that those 30"rs are tall. I know my current arrangement is tall but I only use my top monitor for Videos.
Lol, I was going 40". I did do a 2x2 with 23" 1080p monitors and it was an okay size. I think a 46" would be cool, but I don't think they make one with DP.
Hell do they even make a 48" 4K with DP?
As much as I love Matrox, it's mostly for their TH2Go series, as for a time, the only game in town was the TH2Go or SoftTH. Both having their own strengths. But, this is the AMD Forum, so it's not that relevant. If you honestly need a lot of outputs.... 9 Full HD outputs. But it would be slower than built in intel video on 3D. It will also do 6 4K displays at one time.

This thread is SUPER helpful. I'm currently using five displays on the 6x miniDP VisionTek Radeon HD7870 2GB 6x MiniDP, 7870x62GPC Eyefinity. It works well but I get lags and video calls often crash my system. I'd love something with a bit higher capacity. suiken_2mieu and others: Do you happen to have an updated list of 6-display and 5-display graphics cards to consider? Best, Steve
