Can't save as anything except Bitmap

I'm really getting mad yo. Everytime I go to save a file, mainly gifs, it will only let me save as a Bitmap with the file name as untitled. What is going on? I thought it might be a browser problem, what's why I posted it here. I'm using IE 6.
 
This seems to happen when I go to websites with frames. But when I open one of the in it's own window, this still happens.
 
I had this problem once, just do as said above and empty your temporary internet files.
