Can't Remove Virtual Hard Drive

A week ago, I found an empty Virtual Hard Drive and never bother to remove it until today. The problem is Windows 7 does not recognize it exist and I can't see it under Device Manager nor Administrative Tools. is there another method of removing them?

Can you simply delete the associated files? What app was it created in...XP Mode?

it gives me an "Access is denied" whenever i try opening the drive. I'm not sure which app created it but nothing I know that is installed require a virtual drive.

Just out of curiosity, how large is the file?

If Windows is giving you an Access is denied error, you could try deleting the file with the help of Unlocker or booting with the Ultimate Boot CD and deleting the file from there.
