Can’t get into BIOS after updating on Rampage VI Extreme

I updated to the 3006 BIOS today and now I can’t enter the BIOS config screen at boot up. I’ve tried two different USB keyboards with no luck.

Any thoughts?

Update: made it into the config, but it doesn’t respond to any keys so I can’t even exit the bios. The config screen has not crashed since it still updates a couple of voltages periodically.

Flash it back a version?
Reflash current?

That board supports flashing from a USB key without uefi access.

move your keyboard up to the top most usb ports and the try that ^^

Tried every port with no luck. Flashed back to previous BIOS version and it’s working again.
I guess this is just another reminder to never update anything. Ever.

A bit off a moot point now, but this is why I always keep a ps2 keyboard around. Your local thrift store likely has one for a few dollars.

It seems like that would be more useful on a machine with a PS2 port, no?

Now I just need to figure out how to get PCIEx8_4 to claim 8 lanes.

I've never seen one without. Sorry for not checking, just expected it.
