Can't get higher than 192 FSB on A7N8X Dlx. rev 1.04 Help!

I have the latet BIOS but I still can't get higher. I think I might buy this-> http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/minochcokit.html
to help me get to at least 200 so I can run at a true 3200+. Any other suggestions???

A7N8X 1.04 (bios 1007) will not go 200 FSB. I had one as well, I'm now on revision 2 with all the same hardware at 200 FSB no problems. Sorry Dude, its that time, new motherboard, that is.

My rev 1.04 A7N8X with xp2500 and corsair LL 3200 runs at a 200 fsb, however I did refit the northbridge heatsink with some decent paste first, this may have helped. I think the uber bios allows you to tweak the NB voltage, raising this should help a bit.

Edit - have you tried lowering the multiplier (assuming it's not locked) before raising the fsb?

I almost always pull of fan/heatsinks and do that, for some reason though I didn't on my northbridge. Thanks for reminding me. And what uber bios are you refering to?

Refit the NB heatsink and do the vdd mod (really helped me on my 1.02 Asus).

Try 11-3-3-2.5 timings as well.

My Asus rev. 1.04 would do 190 tops, 2.0 revision......200-230mhz depending on ram timings.
