Can't decide on Sigma 18 - 250 vs. Canon 18 -200

Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Standard Zoom Lens

vs.

Sigma 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM IF Lens

I read 2 review on it, they are both good, price is about in the same range.

this guy has a lot of photo on the sigma 18 to 250, and at long range, 250mm, it's not sharp. but overall looks okay

Go to POTN (photography-on-the.net) and pose the same question. Traditionally you are going to get better IQ at the long end with a Canon and better color representation but then again that is in the eye of the beholder.
