Can you bounce a wifi router to another wifi router?

Okay so heres the situation. I have the cable modem plugged into a wireless router downstairs. I would like to buy another router for my room upstairs. Can I shoot from the router downstairs to the upstairs one to be able to run cat cable for my room (ill be hooking up a 360 and my computer) ? Thanks
 
look into routers that can support dd-wrt or tomato. flash both of em, have have a better more stable setup.
 
That linksys bridge works good, I use it in my setup. It can be a pain to get setup, but once running, it's all good.
