While I agree with you, in general, but I feel I need to point out that none of this is new, or the results of our modern society and has likely occured since the begining of time, but modern communication makes it seem far worse since 100 years ago you didn't hear about cases outside your immediate area but now you hear of cases that happen all over the country and even the world.

I am WAITING for this. Not because I am any of these mind you, but I want to see if the hilarious scope of sexual preference continues to expand. One thing that people don't like talking about is how things and concepts are doors. You open the door and then you are eventually opening another one, then another one. Tis true. We live in a society that shoves down our throat that we should be able to give in to any desire and buy any thing no matter our circumstances. Look at millennials. They graduate from college with huge debt expecting a job and a rich and wonderful lifestyle, regardless of the debt they incurred. My friend is dating a girl that has almost 150k in college debt for a normal degree, and yes, it's in English. :/

Restraint is not the focal point of our society. Oh, unless you are religious. Then you have to restrain yourself from saying religious things in public, because reasons. I did want to say this, treatment is always better than punishment, particularly if treatment can be done prior to an incident. This is true of any crime. If we continue down the path of punishment without treatment, our society will collapse under the weight of its own justice system.

most of the posts in this thread are about extreme punishment, which DOES NOT WORK, just look at the stats for rape/murders before and after rape was punished with execution. Hint, most rapes used to end in murder when the punishment was death.

Punishment is not an effective deterrent, treatment and social reform is.

It is a systemic problem, one that is only a peice of the puzzle. Most of the people that got rich in the land of opportunity did so by lying, cheating and stealing themselves. It just so happens that they got away with it and then put in place laws to prevent people from doing the same thing to them that they did to others. Not saying we should go back to the 'old ways' but knowing where we come from is part of the battle to making a better future.

Allow teen hookers who are above legal age, who look like kids, to go to the island to sell their service to the pedophiles as any other legal prostitute would. Surprised no one mentioned beastiality. For whatever reason the topic stays very much underground but in reality it's more common than many think. There is even an entire forum site dedicated to discussions about people having sex with their animals and porn sites as well.
