I got top of line 27 inch iMac last week and its coming to its new home on Thursday. It has two thunderbolt ports so is it possible for me to put an external monitor and projector to it? I have all the mini display ports that I need but unsure if I can have 3 monitors seen by the OS so that I can use the monitor for productivity and the projector for movies without having to connect stuff.

Should work just fine. I do 4 displays on my MBP with no problem.
