4x4GB GSkill TridentZ 3000, MSI z370 M5, 8700k.
With XMP enabled, the default CCSA voltage is 1.4v and IO is nearly as much. As I understand it, these default that high to account for weak memory controllers, so I usually set them to 1.2 or lower since my temps can get out of control at higher voltages. Even though I've never experienced a crash with these settings, I have noticed anomolies in game performance such as microstuttering, increased input lag, and a general sense of low framerate and inconsistent frametimes despite consistent performance reports.
Is it possible that insufficient voltages could cause issues like this without crashes?
