I got 1 80GB 8MB Cache HDD, and a 20GB 2MB Cache..... Just wondering if they will run raid 0?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you run an 80GB hard drive and a 20GB hard drive in RAID 0, aren't you only going to have 40GB of usable space?

I've never tried RAIDing my HDs but as far as I'm concerned - it should work but you'll loose like 60 gigs of storage space...

yeah it should work, but its probably going to shot up at2 20gig HDs with 2mb buffer, I dont put anything thats not the same exact HD into RAID 0.

I'm not positive but i dont think 2MB buffer and 8MB buffer hard drives will work togethor in RAID. I may be wrong and they may work "ok" but i dont think they will.

And if you RAID0 those drives togethor you will only have 40GB total so theres no point.

Putting them in RAID 0 will give you 40GB of storage total. Also the 2MB cache drive will bring down the performance quite a lot. You'll get better performance from your single 80GB drive then from the RAID array.
