Can I run IDE and SATA concurrently on an Epox EP-8RDA3+?

I'm just ordered my first SATA drive; a Hitachi 160GB (on Hardforum member's recommendation). I should've looked into this beforehand but I hadn't thought about it. I would like to make this new drive my boot drive. I realize I'll have to get the latest mobo drivers first.

I also would like to continue using my 120GB IDE drive and was hoping this was possible.

Can anyone think of anything else I might have to do?

as is my inexperienced understanding. i believe it to be, that once you install the SATA it becomes just like a regular harddrive and thus you can go to into the bios and set it as the boot disk.

as is my understanding.

since they run off separate controllers its not an issue. there should be options in the bios for selecting which to be the first boot device and so on. no problems at all will come from running SATA and EIDE concurrently.

Thanks a lot guys! Now I don't have to fear not being able to use my other drives :)
