Wife is looking to upgrade to SATA6 & USB3 on a budget. Just curious if she can buy a new SSD drive & this motherboard & still reuse her processor & ram.

It will work just fine.

However I would spend the little extra($12) on the UD-5 board as the Northbridge on the UD-5 and UD-7 have better heatsinks and will run alittle cooler.

I'm still using this CPU in my gaming PC and it has been a champ for me for years. And yea it should work nicely with that board.
