can i fix my headphones?

long story short, my dad got mad at me and threw my headphones at the wall! one of the ear phone thingies snapped off but the other one still works. the only thing that i can see going to it would be just one wire, i am wondering if i could just somehow reconnect the wire and see if they would work. the headphones i have are ATH-A900, theses were rly nice headphones but i think they are discontinued cause i cant find em anywhere.
