Calling local number produces international call tone

So I am experiencing a very peculiar issue. Half the time when I dial local numbers the phone emits an international call tone. Sometimes it will start with the regular calling tone and then switch over to international. Never had this on my previous phone but it started after I got my Axon 7. This is on Tmobile. I have gone through the call settings but there is nothing in there concerning the dialing policies. No issues on the bill. The numbers in the phone havent changed.

Just curious what this could be and if anyone has experienced this.
