After a successful private multiplayer beta on the consoles, Sledgehammer Games is planning to have an open beta for Call of Duty: WWII on PC. The plan is to stress test the core gameplay systems and online backend. The beta is will be available on Steam and is scheduled for September 29th through October 2nd. Announcement and minimum specs can be found at this link.

Call of Duty: WWII is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. It is the fourteenth primary installment and first Call of Duty series game to be set primarily during World War II since Call of Duty: World at War in 2008. The game is set in European theatre of the war. The campaign is centered around a squad in the 1st Infantry Division, and follows their battles in the Western Front, while the multiplayer expands on different fronts not seen in the campaign. Zombies mode also returns.

this crap should a 2 - 3 year cadence the yearly is burning out the player base.

Thank you for making this beta on Steam. It's so annoying to have to download other launchers for betas.

So... anyone remember Call of Duty: World at War? How is yet another WWII FPS going to somehow be different?
