Warzone is here to stay. Modern Warfare multiplayer will die out if the new Call of Duty is good.
 
I think consoles trip me up and cause me to think more people are cheating than really are.

Most of the time I laugh at console players who talk shit and tell them to buy a PC and play without the console having to help them aim.
They think that their crosshairs staying on target and then jumping to where it would be without aim assist after the enemy dies is "skill."

I played a round last night, ran around without finding much of any people from the other team. Checked the score board. A guy on our team had 30 something kills, the rest of use maybe 12 combined. I've had similar kill counts before, so don't think much of it. End game shows the play of the game. Guy is walking and instantly zapping everyone as soon as they appear. Pin point locking onto heads of other people, one shot, instantly locked onto another head, one shot, now locked onto another head for a player that was at his 8 o clock position. He was killing them so quick, pretty much as soon as they got in sight, that the rest of us could barely even find the other team's players. :eek:

The sound throughout the map was pretty much dead to because it was mostly 1 shot with no return fire.

Yeah I've had a fair share of games where I get 25-30 kills, but never with that many 1 shot kills and the enemies always get off a decent amount of rounds at me even if I take them down.

I’m happy to see the new game for sure but I’m much more excited to see how they integrate warzone between these 2 games!

Man, I just can't stick with the WZ. Its either I run and gun using the pinwheel method only to get clipped five minutes in, or camp out in the center for 20m listening for footsteps.

edit: I did two rounds of Ground War last night and was getting sniped from half a mile out the entire time.

lol sounds to me like you either need to stop playing Warzone as it’s not your type of game.

Try playing with a full team of 4 people who communicate and know how to play. It makes the game 2 million times more fun. Trust me, it’s a whole different experience

Yea, with the young kiddo its hard for me to log in on a regular basis so I just go solo. I've got a group of guys on another forum I frequent giving out invites. See how that goes.
 
Playing around with Nvidia Shadow Play. Pretty amazing, didn't notice any FPS drops. 2560x1440P 60 frame rate videos look great. Youtube doesn't look as good as the raw video obviously. After using FRAPS (haven't used for years) which would halve your frame rate, this tech is pretty amazing.

So I noticed this game basically has zero anticheat. I made a new account to test this and in the beginner lobbies I was just cleaning up as expected. Eventually my KD pushed above 5 and I got moved by SBMM into the top 1% lobbies. Right when that happened, I noticed guys who weren't even hiding the fact that they had an aimbot and/or ESP. Like after they kill you, you see on the cam they are straight up tracking you through a wall and if they're using an aimbot, then they don't even try to hide it. In fact, I have a clip of it I'll share later today in this thread where this entire fucking squad was using one (at least 2/4) and then they BRAGGED and talked shit afterward which was hilarious because they were trying to act like they had legit skill. This fucking game is dead to me and so is the CoD franchise and probably competitive PC gaming overall, the hacks are out of control and Activision couldn't care less because they make the bulk of their $$ off consoles. Someone should ask AMD/NVIDIA, why should we drop $700-$1500 on your gfx cards when online PC gaming is riddled with hackers? It's fucking stupid. I can't believe I'm saying this but I'll probably pick up a PlayStation 5 when it releases in a few months and hook it up to my monitor with a KB/Mouse and play Warzone with cross-play turned off.

Granted I had Most Wanted but it doesn't refresh instantly, there's a lag time and this guy real time tracks me through walls perfectly and my armor is already gone by the time I come around the corner.

Seems like it comes and goes. Their ban waves do seem to work, but yes these does seem to be a fair amount of cheaters. Much more than BF3/4 at least. Still a minority, but enough where it can be annoying at times.

It's definitely not a minority, they're basically in almost every match once you reach a high enough KD (some just hide it or use 2D ESP only). My KD right now is hovering at 3.5 and I run into them quite a bit. Even at 1.50 you'll run into them often. For reference, a KD of 1.50+ puts you in the top 1% of Warzone players, mine currently is at 3.5 KD (it'll probably drop and settle around 2.5 eventually) which puts me near the top 0.1%. Unfortunately this game has no real functioning anticheat, they manually do some bans here and there but there's people who have been hacking since day 1 and they never got caught and their numbers are growing. In fact, there's a semi-public hack out there that you can buy which has gone undetected since the games release.

Unfortunately Apex Legends is also facing the same problem but since it's a much smaller game by numbers, you don't see them as much as Warzone. If you are a casual player, you won't likely run into them too much in Warzone because of SBMM. But once you start trying and pulling 1.5 KD+ then you'll see these dickheads quite often. Activision could have done so much more, by either requiring a credit card as validation to play online with Warzone, to creating separate lobbies for those who own Warzone + the full game to thin out the hacking kiddies. Or they could have spent some money on R&D for an AI anticheat in-house like some companies are doing and built a public Overwatch type of ban system liek CS:Go has. Truth is Activision just doesn't care, all the suckers who buy this game every year have the memory of a gold fish and forget how they got reamed the year before and keep forking over their money.

Honestly bro, the only way to play without worrying about cheating is NOT playing on PC. Consoles are amazing in this aspect. 1 in a billion ( obviously exaggerating but you get the point ) cheating on console. In all my years of playing, maybe 2-3 times ive witnessed it myself.

Only thing being, i think you if you hook up your mouse\keyboard to your ps5 or xbox series x, it'll queue you in PC lobby.




And yes, it'll NEVER get fixed. PC will always and forever be plagued with this fucking garbage. Sucks but we'll still keep playing.

I was asking a console player and he said you could turn off xplay on PS4 Pro and still use KB/Mouse. Don't know if that was true or not though, do you happen to have a console to test? Because if you can avoid PC players while using KB/Mouse, it would be a gold mine. I wouldn't even care if they separated controller from KB/Mouse on console, just as long as it's cheater free. PC gaming is just getting worse and worse because these greedy companies have walled off their games so community run servers are a thing of the past and cheaters are everywhere. Back about 10-15 years ago we had our own servers and could spectate hackers and remove them asap but those days are long gone and PC gaming will go with it. Even on this website a lot of the guys who claim to be enthusiasts are just SP game players and that's just the minority for PC gaming these days, most of the new generation plays MP games and with hacks going unchecked, it's going to kill PC gaming off eventually. If I was AMD/NVIDIA, I'd take this seriously and start pressuring companies like Activision to do better.

So I read that on Xbox, Activision doesn't let you turn off xplay for Warzone (there's some dashboard trick you can use AFAIK) but on PlayStation they allow it. I think it's some criteria Sony put in place in order to allow xplay.

started playing again a couple days ago. there are alot of cheaters now. I hardly saw any when I was playing a few months ago. now I'd say 20% of the time I get into the gulag the guy's crosshair follows me when I'm behind everything. its so obvious. guy was high level too, so hes been playing for awhile.

I'm running into a cheater almost every match lately. Today I had blatant ESP/aimbotters and they didn't even care because Activision has no desire to put in an effective anticheat. I guess why would they? Look at all the scrubs flocking to Cold War already.
 
I just started playing again but because my friends are all xbox I've been using my controller instead and just playing with console users and its been good, I miss the m+kb but not running into hackers is a huge plus lol

I didnt think max graphics quality helped.
The game has this dark flat color palette that I’d hoped ray tracing would give the shadows some depth.
Nope, still black holes I have to stunk or frag check.

Cold War is around the corner, and Warzone map remake is coming.
Those mp reveal streams looked like the maps were brighter and better.

The game doesn’t gain much FPS with low settings unfortunately. It’s still not a big enough gain over my OC 2080 Ti to buy it so I’ll have to wait until a refresh or 20% faster 3080 Ti when it’s released.
 
I was already getting 175fps at 1080p, 150fps 1440p with a 1080ti.
Aio cooling helped maintain boost for a longer duration.
It liked being under 70c, and it noticeably preferred a 9700kf at 5ghz vs a 4.2ghz 2600.

On my 3600x I'm getting about 160 fps average with Nvidia color filters on in Warzone.

what settings do you play on? I'm only getting 90 fps with a 2070 super at 1440p in warzone.

Whatever competitive is.

Everything low or off except something with cinematics, whatever has that interaction with AA you can turn down but shouldn't turn off.

Poke thru and you'll see a 7820x, 1700x, 2600, and 9700kf all run off the same 1080ti across a 1080p 180hz Asus, 1440p 165hz Acer, and 100hz x34.

I'll play around with diff cpu clocks and gpu ram overclocks, you have to check notations. Settings for that capture usually is in there.

Same with all max settings, except RTX is off. And I only play TDM, Warzone might be slightly lower FPS due to the size.

Ryzen 3700X to go with the RTX 2070. Honestly, sounds about right if you're maxing out the settings.

Everything on low. I use 2x MSAA because the jaggies at 1080P are brutal. Nvidia color filters cost you about 10FPS and those are absolutely required for Warzone to be able to see in dark places and for better contrast between character models and the environment.

For those of you that desperately want to improve at Warzone:
I've been doing Aimer7s guide to improving your aim for about a week and the improvement is kind of amazing already. I'm also adjusting to the Periloot Caravel keypad I bought, it's also very impressive so far.
