Acer Aspire 1410-2817 Intel SU2300 2GB 250GB 11.6IN HD Win 7 Home Premium (499)
or
ASUS Eee PC 1201N Black Atom N330 NVIDIA ION 2GB 250G 12.1IN 1366X768 Draft N WIN7 (529)

I guess it comes down to processor power vs video power and what makes it all around more usefull. I'd be using it for browsing, RDP/Citrix stuff for work, audio playback and some HD video playback. Gaming isn't a big deal because I have a ps3.

if gaming is not important,
then it is not as clear cut

the N330 dual core atom in 1201n is good enough for pretty much everything, but just still lower then the su2300
and use more power. then su2300

check the battery life,
the 1410 should have like 6-7 hours of battery life.
while the 1201n is around 3-4 hours.

with the ION in the 1201n it is abit better for playing video
especially when you watch HD stuff from youtube or hulu
with adobe flash 10.1 and newest driver the 1201n was butter smooth even i show the video on my 42" 1080p TV using the 1201n
( i just sold the 1201n just because i want to play more games
and i got a 14" laptop instead..

lets say..
if battery life is not that important..
then the 1201n is kind of better..

I have the Acer Aspire 1510 and I Love mine. last me a total of 6hrs 38min. Its slim design is just awesome.

I downloaded one of the 1080p wmv demos from microsoft today. It played smoothly at like 50% cpu
pleased++
