im looking at 2 mobos im going to be crossfiring 2 5770's and unlocking and overclocking my X3
the asrock M3A770DE motherboard here is the link http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157176 i like the price on this one better but it has less sata ports terrible coloring and a small gap between the gpu's

and a MSI 870-G45 i like this motherboard better, the coloring matches my case more sata ports a gap between gpus here is the link http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130290

which one is a better deal?

the 870-G45 is a decent board, just make sure you flash it to the latest bios if you want to do crossfire or it won't boot.

ill go with the asrock, thank you zyzeast, but would the lack of breathing room on a stock referance radeon card be a bad thing?

Man the msi is a better board..you want more air space between cards ..the second card is going to block the fan intake for the first card...1yr warrantee with asrock and 3yr on the msi...the msi is an all around better board..for 10 bucks difference the msi is the way to go...even with refrence cards more space is better....to me this is a no brainer after building computers and working in a mom and pop store im telling you the msi is a much better layout than the asrock..dont get me wrong i do like asrock but in your situation i would go for the msi board.....good luck guy.....

thanks for the imput but i found a asus 790 board that with a rebate was cheaper and i ened up goint with it, i appreciate the imput
