I'm going to (maybe) use this board http://www.intel.com/products/motherboard/dg965wh/index.htm
with a Core2duo E6400 (2.13Ghz) and 2 gigs corsair 667.
It seems that this board supports Intel VIIV and has S/PDIF output to a new HDMI capable video card (not purchased yet)

Any gotchas you can see with that board? At least if it is Intel branded it is solid, boring but solid.

The only issues I'm aware of with that board is that there are ZERO overclocking capabilities. Like nothing.

It's the board that is coming with the Intel purchace program, and I'm trying to decide if I want to sell the board and get an oc'able board, or just make do with the cheaper(broke college student) board, and the huge upgrade my systems getting going from a massively OC'd AMD2500 to a Conroe 6300.

Dunno yet.

I will give you 300 big ones for your Intel Retailer deal stuff :)
It's exactly what I am trying to buy for my HTPC.

Biggest gripe I can find is that it only seems to work with 1.8v memory.
