Build my own

Difficulty depends completely on your skill level and access to tools.

If you have a drill, a drill press, a table saw, a jig-saw and some hole saws you can accomplish just about anything.

I built my own case from wood. Not too difficult to do.

Your case is a bit thin for wood. But I guess you could use 1-3 layers of veneer at 90 degrees bonded with a good epoxy. About .075" for 3 layers.

Yeah, wasn't counting on blue prints, but you never know. If I get around to making it in the near future I'll probably update with some pictures of my progress. Thanks for the quick responses.

Give it a go, the worst that can happen is you make scrap out of 30bucks worth of wood. Thats hardly going to break the bank. And after practicing on the first case you can design a better second case from the mistakes made on the original.

Some modders dont use any bluprints/plans, they design as they build. Any rough sketches on paper will do once you measure around the components being used.

goodluck
