On my account, there's a slight bug, not a big deal in terms of usability, but my PM count at the top right underneath the Newegg ad is stuck with one unread message, even though I've read all of my PMs. Any ideas? I have searched this forum for "bugged private message count" and didn't see an answer. When I look at my PMs, they all show up as read. Is there some doggedly persistent PM that is throwing the counter for a loop, or just a quirk in the system where a code to set the count back down to zero wasn't run/lost in the Intenret ether etc?
 
What happens if you send yourself a PM, effectively forcing the unread counter to recalculate/refresh?
 
I've had some come in since this bug first surfaced - I was at 66 total with 1 stuck on unread, now it's 70 total, one stuck at unread even though I've read them all.

Does that mean it doesn't go up, either? Or does it just never get down to zero?
 
Never goes down to zero. Can go up, and as I read incoming messages, will drop, but never to zero.
