Dear [H] fiends,

My HP MFC inkjet has major issues with ink cartridges/heads, and after only 18 months is probably going to dumpster. Possibly I didn't use it enough, as I was using my old/trusty 7 years old cheap Sammy monochrome laser printer for day to day printing color needs (my kids school and occasional photo). As a result I'm looking for a replacement for both, especially with toner running low on my sammy laser printer.

Local store with a good return warranty is offering both listed printers. Brother is $90 more expensive. Both from my understanding are considered budget entry MFC color printers, and both have a lot of love and hate based on reviews I've read.

My needs are:

- kids school work (sometimes color (graphic/photo) is required). Roughly 0-20 pages a week.
- not worrying about having printer idle for week(s) aka drying up ink.
- ok photo quality would be a bonus (I understand it won't be ink jet quality)
- a decent working copier
- do not care about usb connectivity
- scanner do not care
- duplex is not a must
- don't care about ios/android support
- fax not needed
- have ethernet access so poor wifi is not an issue
- low maintenance :)
- good/cheap 3rd party toner support to minimize running costs.

So which one would you recommend Brother MFC-9330CDW or Dell C1765NFW?

Any help/advise wold be much appreciated. ;)

Thanks,
Martin
