Hi all , I bought a mb second hand and it arrived with 2 bent pins (board would not boot) :( , i decided to have a go at bending them back in place and they both broke off.
I put it together outside the case to test, and all seems fine. rear usb , graphics slot etc.
I hav´nt tested the front usb3 or usb2 and audio yet.
I ran a couple of games no problem.

my question is how do i know what those pins do , are there any tests I could run to check.

Most sockets have a pin map published. You could look up the one for your board and find out what those broken pins did.

But If everything is working , they were most likely power or ground pins, in which case you’ll be fine. You may lose a bit of over clocking ability... but not likely.

sweet , thanks for the reply. I won´t be overclocking on this , it´s a ga z170n itx with a g4560, just for a sff build .
I´ll try and find the pin layout some where to double check
thanks again.

Just tried a quick search and could´nt find anything , would I have to write to gigabyte to get a pin map?

just in case anyone knows here is a photo.
