Broadwell 5775c and H87/Z87

Does anyone know if the new 5775 works in H87 chipsets? I've got one of these

and the extra cache/lower TDP is enticing. Buying a new board kills my excitement, but I thought it worth asking.

gigabyte would probably have to provide a updated bios to allow support

Damn and blast. Reading the article it says that haswell may not be compatible with the 9 series (which is wrong), so I'll just keep the hope up.

Do you actually have a 5775c? May I ask where you got it? I'd love to have one for an HTPC build.

I do not have one, but (assuming they become available for not crazy prices) I think it would be a nice upgrade.

I haven't seen less than $500+ from random ebay sellers in Italy or Amazon sellers in Japan. If you find it somewhere else let me know

Sorry to necro this thread but I'm curious if anyone has tried this? I have a 5775C on the way and want to know if I am wasting my time attempting to use it in a Z87 board.
