BRAND NEW Seagate SATA HDD on fire!

Yep, thats right. My friend was checking his hard drive in my computer... and sure enough, it caught on fire!!!

It literally had a flame shooting up... flames! It was the coolest thing Ive ever seen.

never heard of real flames form a hard drive before, burt ic yes, flames, no. and its a segate which ive only ever had 1 fail in 6 years(out of 200)

I love seagate, this was just the coolest freak accident ever. There were about 1 inch flames coming off of it (not much, but Ive never seen flames before from a hard drive)

i could imagine filling out the rma forum,

reason for RMA: Flames came out of drive and burninated the drive
