bought DVD burner

k I know how to "backup" a DVD with some guide... I'm just wondering if I've got a ton of say, music videos enough to fill up a DVD-R, what would I use to burn it so that I could watch it on my DVD player? I use Nero6 and it has all those options like data CD, vcd, svcd, mini-DVD and stuff but no DVD-R


kinda dumb question but I'm assuming with copyright stuff on the disc, you can't just have the DVD movie in one drive and a blank DVD disc in the burner and can't just copy one disc to the other?

and finally... my burner (Pioneer 16x dual layer or something) is DVD-R and DVD+R .. which should I use? I bought some dash arrrs to start with...
 
I use Nero Vision Express. It does all the video converting for you. Just drag and drop the video files into a new DVD project and select the compression. Can't be much easier than that....if so let me know :p
 
I go to Vision Express... says Video CD, I chose different type then this pops up...

1)You need to rip the DVD movie to the HDD first, use DVDDecrypter or DVDShrink (both are free).
2)Use DVDDecrypter to transcode the ripped DVD down to 4.38GB, burn it, and see in on your TV.
 
Nice, I used DVDdecrypter and Shrink. Succesfully copied a DVD! I'm just wanting to know how to burn mpegs/avis/divx to DVD. What program do you guys use for that?

Guys, how can Timay get his multiple pr0n movies on dvid so he can watch them on his tv????

That too... but I got a bunch of music videos, car videos, and TV shows legally acquired...

Nero! Burn it as a data DVD, or use Recode to transcode into .vob files, and then burn them to DVD using the DVD-Video template in Nero.
