Don't skimp on the finish now dude! Give it some of the old school treatment.

Sanding sealer and laquer for the finish. I am not going to stain it, I think the natural color is the best looking especially on wood this old. Even though my camera wont capture it, there are some wonderful deep shades of purple in the grain.

Thanks everyone, I am still moving along on this project and actually have the front door hinged to the body now and the entire thing sanded smooth and to shape. I just have zero time to do the updates these last 2 weeks. I am going to try and get the project logs caught up this weekend.

This actually looks pretty nice, running this at 5V would be awesome. I noticed 2.26 amps draw at 12V though, too much for a PC PSU?
