There is also known issues with some Remote Desktop software causing GPU work to crash. You may need to test various options. I know that Ultra VNC, Team Viewer, and LogMeIn have all worked fine for me.
I have personally used the following without issues
LogMeIn
Team Viewer ver. 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13
PCAnywhere ver. 11.5, 12.5
UltraVNC ver. 1.1.9.3
Chrome Remote Desktop
Intel's OpenCL SDK: This is now included in the latest drivers for the GPU's that are supported. BOINC version 7.0.40 or above is necessary to detect Intel GPU's.
