I'm looking for recommendations on A2DP adapters, and figured since it's for use with my phone this sub isn't too far off the mark.

I just picked up an Air Dock Qi charger, which looks to require 2.1A from the 12V adapter. My trusty old Kensington LiquidAux doesn't output that much, so I need to replace it.

The A2DP adapter needs to get power from a 1A USB output (the Air Dock's 12V adapter has an extra output port) and autoconnect whenever I'm within range.

I'm having trouble finding those two things in one package. The USB-powered ones I can find require you to press a button on the device every time you get in the car to pair. Very annoying.

Any suggestions?

skip the A2DP adapter and get a Bluetooth capable Headunit for the car

Yup, this is what I did with my Altima and it's much better overall. You can get the adapters to keep your steering wheel controls and everything as well, so I can control/skip songs and podcasts on my phone through my steering wheel.
