Blind Test - RX Vega FreeSync vs. GTX 1080 TI G-Sync

Nintendo Switch is powered by Nvidia.
Ah. I didn't know that. I wouldn't think Nintendo would pay much better/differently than Microsoft or Sony so that's surprising. I remember reading the drama after the original Xbox and PS3 with Nvidia. Nvidia was none too happy with those arrangements as I recall.

Yeah, I don't think the console market has high margins, but it's solid business nonetheless.

I have a Freesync monitor and an Nvdia card. No noticeable screen tearing. I'm I missing something?

perhaps if you had a monitor that could drive more than 60hz you'd notice something. I get frameskipping on my 34" 1440p freesynce monitor @ above 60hz and the monitor is rated at 75. Just my thoughts on that.

I am using G-Sync and a 1080TI, I really wanna build a PC with an AMD card and a Freesync monitor just to do my own comparison. Sounds like an expensive project though.
