Blackberry lost all contacts anyway to recover?

The COO of my company put his password on his blackberry to many times wrong which result in it being wiped of all contacts, emails etc. Is there a process or some software to recover the contacts on the phone?

What carrier was it? With Verizon you can get free access to a program called backupassistant with sign-up for account access on the web (which is also free). Then you can backup contacts, etc., but he has to have set it up on the phone and synced it, and then you can restore them from the web. It's a long shot but you never know.

If you are a google user, use Google Sync to keep your contacts synced with you Gmail contacts. Very handy for many reasons. Safety being one.

Guessing your didn't have it tied to your mailservers via BES then?

Yea you are pretty much fucked unless he backed it up. FYI if he didn't and you are not running BES change the setting on his desktop so it backs up the phone every x days.
