The Priv isn’t doing so hot, but BlackBerry is keeping at it. Since that cost $700 and still managed to have less than admirable build quality, I can’t imagine these cheaper phones will feel any better.

Chen told The National that "A lot of enterprise customers have said to us, ‘I want to buy your phone, but $700 is a little too steep for me. I’m more interested in a $400 device.'" The report says BlackBerry plans "to launch two mid-range Android handsets this year, one with a physical keyboard and one with a full touchscreen."

I like the priv. I am writing this on the priv right now. It has some sweet features to it, but like normal blackberry overpriced it. 550 would have been more realistic than 700.

I'm interested in the physical keyboard. I miss it. I've tried Swype, Swiftkey, etc. Nothing compares to the physical keyboard so far for me.
