They had a mod team working on such a thing since around 2005 to 2006. I assume it died, along with the Opposing Force one.

I'd play it if they do it, but after playing Black Mesa I have to say it feels dated.

I know this post is dated, but glad to bump this. Huge fan of the Half life series.

Although, I would agree opposing force was enjoyable. =)

Really enjoyed the Black Mesa remake. Certainly one of the very best fan-made "mods" ever made.
