Hi,

Is it worth waiting for the rebates of BF/CM to buy an EVGA GTX 980 or it's doubtful the rebate would be more than 20-30$ off? If it's worth waiting, which of the two usually have the best rebate?

I don't often buy parts, so I never really looked a the deals during those two events. I'm from Canada (in case you mention a specific website).

Thanks

Buy B-stock parts. :D

Jet.com has 20% off for new customers with a maximum discount of $50. There is a thread in the HotDeals section about Jet. My only complaint is trivial. They use SmartPost (Post Office) and they are terrible here in NC if you use the free shipping option. Now that I know I'll just bump my shipping up a notch to avoid that.

Also I think someone in the thread said that some of the video cards are more discounted than the face value price. So don't feel bad about adding some to your cart to check for potential discounts.

Jet doesn't seem to ship to Canada.

I usually buy from Newegg.ca, NCIX.ca or Amazon.ca

Oh might want to mention Canada in the original post. ;) I tried to find my Canadian buddy a deal and it was really painful to see the high prices.

I will, but my question was more if in general it is worth waiting, than finding the deal it self.
Thanks

Been wondering about jet.com. Looks kind of shady to me but seems to be getting popular.
