finally got my case... I had to pay extra for it too. stupid nc ix cancelled my first order because my apartment # was in a different line on my PayPal confirmed address. now I got it for a full $23 more than what I could have gotten... took that it if the 230mm fan budget for now

I'm sure if you made a bit of a fuss to NCIX they'll credit you back.

Nope, NCIX is out of stock by that time and they said they can't do anything about it. And now I got it from Newegg.

NCIX had it for sale at $69.99. So I got it from Newegg for $79.99 + $13 shipping. (Shipped to MS so I don't have to pay Memphis, TN, 9.25% tax...)

Newegg, the earliest I see a restock is probably Tuesday/Wednesday. Every batch, gets sold out within 18 hours. Not even a day.

Got the case last weekend. Managed to even stuff the infamous NH-D14 into this case on the P8Z77-I Deluxe, but I had to dump the rear fan. With some trickery you can even get the NH-D14 inside without losing the DVD drive too.

Only real gripe with this is the short front port cables, they barely reach the motherboard.

Well the case arrived, like the reviews say bigger then expected... oh well, going to side mount a monitor to it for a grab once and carry everything type setup.

I was thinking of doing the same thing. How were you thinking of achieving this?

Would an NZXT Hale90 1000w fit in this case? It would be nice to have a white PSU to match the white case.

Edit: Nvm, found the answer.

by building a metal bracket that wraps around the side of the case and then is removable if the unit needs service... Ill post pics once it starts getting made...

I do have to admit I was expecting a smaller case, but it's huge, so I put in large memories too!

My Win8 box starts up (auto-login) prior to my monitors turning on.

I'm surprised more people here aren't interested in the Prodigy with the watercooling ability that beats most mATX cases. I received one of the white ones the other day and it looks really nice, especially for the price of only $79.99. I've got it test fitted with an ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe and GTX 690 at the moment to see if this is what I want to move to for my main rig.

Wow, this case is by far the best looking LAN case I have seen in a long long time.....may have to build a mini ITX system in one of these!

I ordered a Black one from NCIX. Should have it very soon. There HAS to be a way to cram a BD drive AND a H100 in there.....I know it can be done somehow despite what others are saying....and WITHOUT modding...

Any suggestions on how to prevent the motherboard from sagging down in the middle? Noticed my Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe isn't taking the weight of the NH-D14 too well despite the rear clamp.

Both the Asus and AsRock z77 itx boards are more than capable.....I'm running a 2500k @ 5.0Ghz on my Asrock, no problems.

What is lacking in the itx department is over-hyped/over-marketed bloat.

BitFenix_xbournex, any chance for a new version without the handles?
Omitting the protruding handles would make this case more externally compact.

I'm also hoping there will be a version 2 with cpu backplate cutout in the motherboard area and cutout in the power supply area, similar to what some people have modified.

I tried that and found that:

1.) It is ONLY for American accounts.
2.) Even though it still says valid it still reverts to $79.99.

Thanks though.

So Bourne......you once said that Bitfenix would NOT make the orange and red cases because they were prototypes and nothing more eh?

Well NCIX says otherwise....in the NEW ARRIVALS section. LOL!!!

I have my case for a while now, but I am currently seeing a flaw with the handles. I know I hadn't move the case move other than tipping it over or sitting it up straight when I'm putting parts in. I took the case to a lan party once; it was wearing seat belts too. But about 3 weeks ago, I notices that the bottom handles are cracked or maybe the better word for it is ripped. It is ripped from one of the bottom screws that holds it in place.

I've contacted bitfenix. Still no response after more than a week. :(

Yes I have noticed lately that they seems to have totally stopped responding to emails and such. I and a few friends of mine have sent messages with no response at all.

NOT a good way to gain a good reputation BitFenix. LOL!

14 pages to find my quote... Not doing it
They were prototypes. We finally nailed down a color.

Please forward your emails to jacky.ly@bitfenix.com I will look into your support emails... I'll take a look at our servers if something looks fishy... No response is not normal.
