I am entitled to a game that is worth my money. You're damn right I am an "entitled consumer".

I don't think they should be spending a second doing anything but finishing that mess of a game.
lol, are being serious right now? So socialism/communism would produce better games? Or perhaps a new unicorn economy made from a fake vocabulary word salad like mmt?
This is nothing new, they got rid of their forums a few years ago because they were tired of hearing what their customers thought and wanted to limit feedback to 140 characters or less with the ability to easily mute anything negative. It's human nature to stick your head in the sand when you don't like what you're hearing but it isn't going to help them solve the very real problems they face due to short term thinking.
It's also extremely hypocritical of them to accuse their customers of being toxic while in same breath making arrogant and dismissive negative comments about the customers who are paying their wages.
Actually they see their obligation and their payment from the rise and fall of their stocks. Why else would they deliver product(s) in such a sad state to the consumers ?This is nothing new, they got rid of their forums a few years ago because they were tired of hearing what their customers thought and wanted to limit feedback to 140 characters or less with the ability to easily mute anything negative. They have programs to hype their content and the bean counters prolly say that it allows them to sell more (EA game changers), Why would you need those programs if your game(s) is(are) good to begin with ?

this is true for life in general...'you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar'
Nah, there are great games from the past that would last you a couple of lifetimes. There is no reason to keep buying crap. This hearkens to the line of "Don't you guys have cellphones?!?!?" Being completely obtuse and unwilling to listen to fans makes us grumpy. The only AAA developer I care to hear about is CDPR. EA, Activision, even bungie can kiss my ass.
Maybe i've become an old grumpy guy and it's time for a new hobby.
I've never used Reddit because I have always heard that it was over moderated. If you wanna see something funny check out the forums on bungie, and then compare that to the reddit for destiny. The bungie forums are straight up filled with players critisizing all of the things that they would like to see improved. Whereas reddit, which is grossly censored, is simply kind words and the occasional gripe. Its as if there are 2 different Destiny 2 games that neither community is aware of. I for one appreciate that bungie doesn't censor their forums and moderate them into the dirt. It shows that they can at least acknowledge their shortcomings, whereas other studios simply look the other way.

It's been a vicious cycle for years. Bioware does something bone headed dumb. Community complains. After a while of making bad decisions, bioware sees a toxic community where nothing seems to make them happy. So they ignore the community. Community raised legitimate concerns, Bioware just sees toxic whining.
It's all downhill. Somebody needs to become a grown-up. But it's hard for the community, because the community is a diverse mix of grownups with bratty kids (some of those being 30+).
When I first glanced at the title, I read it as ....
