Let's post BIOS updates here as they are released for the Ryzen processors and the AM4 platform. This may have to move to Mobos. Will edit as required. If you're board is not listed, please let me know of that and any other additions and I will try to get to it.

Beta BIOSs are not officially supported and are used at your own risk.

The MSI Titanium is not an update. Its the bios that was delivered with the boards, dated Feb 22, 2017 version 1.11

I got this board in yesterday, but it shipped with bios version F4. It's dated 20/02/2017.
Curious if anything is changed or when they are planning on releasing a new bios. So far I can't seem to clock my memory higher than 2133MHz but I haven't tried extensively due to lack of time.

Looks like experimentals to new release as of yet.
Edit- Indeed that is the newest BIOS. Nothing new , in fact older are posted for download.

Asus now has a eta bios 5803 that improves memory stability and speeds . Try it is soecifically for ROG Crosshair VI Hero board. Go to rog.asus.com click on community, then motherboards then Crosshair VI thread there is a hotlink to that bio in one of the threads. It is a major improvement. I is a beta bios, but better than anything else they have out.

Looks like you all should have quiet a few updates in the coming months. Probably more and more improving latency and memory speeds. AMD seems to have just not focused on it much and just focused on CPU side of things for IPC for launch. There should be some improvements for you guys it seems. Get faster memory speed and eventually the boards will support it. Looks like 1080p gaming gets a big boost with memory speed, probably gives the interconnect between modules big bandwidth boost.

Looks like you have the GIGABYTE GA-AB350-Gaming 3 listed twice and are missing two other boards:

GA-AB350-Gaming
http://www.gigabyte.us/Motherboard/GA-AB350-Gaming-rev-10#support-dl
GA-AX370-Gaming K7
http://www.gigabyte.us/Motherboard/GA-AX370-Gaming-K7-rev-10#support-dl

Interestingly Gigabyte seems to have pulled older BIOS revisions and now the F2/F3 versions the boards likely shipped with are listed as "First Releas"

I flashed the new F5c bios on my AX370 Gaming 5, but it made no difference for me. It still won't post above 2133MHz no matter voltage/timings.

Edit: According to the BIOS the CPU runs much cooler than before, it used to idle at about 53-55C in the BIOS but now it idles at around 25-30C. Possibly better temperature detection? Because of this the fan is now also way quieter because it doesn't spin up as much anymore.

This is with a Noctua NH-U14S.

Looks like they have a 1.6 that is not done in the EFI shell like the 1.2 >1.5
Windows and dos version

1.Add Instant flash function.
2.Add "CPU Frequency Multiplier Change" item.

Really wish they would tell you more of what is changed with bios updates.

Same update for the Non AC version and tachi, i believe aall of the x370 are up a version from today 3/7.

Since I hate myself I went ahead and tried again using qflash instead of Bios and managed to get it loaded

DDR4 2400 still crashes hella fast which isn't surprising given the build date. Oh well

scuttlebutt is that you can do it via bclock instead of memory multiplier

drop pcie to gen2 for more headroom

People on the MSI forum are talking about a 1.23 beta BIOS for the MSI X370 Titanium. However, I can't find this file anywhere. Anyone have a link?

The 1.23 beta BIOS for the MSI X370 Titanium is in this post (scroll down to Svet at the end):
https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=282959.0

I've installed it and it doesn't seem to have any issue but it also didn't seem like any improvement.

EDIT: I ran into some performance issues w/ CrossFire (slower than 1 card performance and random shut-downs mid-game) and I'm not sure if the beta BIOS was to blame. I flashed back to stock and did the DDU driver reinstall and then things were working again.

At least some of the ASRock MB's are up to 1.54 beta but users on oc.net are saying the improved XMP support didn't help them yet.

Basically same stuff I'm running on this B350 tomahawk.

When I first built the system and turned it on it would not POST. Only thing that got it to work was to clear CMOS not once but TWICE. Both memory modules are working now at 1.35v set in the BIOS but I am afraid to try for more than 2400mhz. Last thing I want to do is brick the motherboard while I can't get a replacement. Going to leave it alone and wait a few months and an update or two before I try.

I was looking on the MSI forums (re: my X370) and the mod there said this:
For Ryzen systems 2933 is usually the absolut max possible. For most it will be 2666 at best. None of the ram available is already meant for Ryzen and it's completely new architecture. 3200 is therefor quite unrealistic. You should be aware that all DDR4 ram currently for sale is only meant and verified for Intel systems. It is by far not for granted that any bios adjustments will make it possible to use the currently available DDR4 ram work at the same settings/speeds it is meant for on the Intel platform.
https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=282923.7

Reading between the lines it makes me feel we may have to get new AM4 tuned RAM to hit the speeds we want. The high-speed Flare X sticks from G.Skill coming later this month I believe will be that.

Hopefully the updates will at least make it so i can use 2933 :/

It's that RAM issue that really is holding me back from purchasing a new Ryzen system. The plan was to use all 4 dimm slots but if there is that speed penalty for using it I'll just have to wait because I don''t want to buy a board then find out later that it needs a new motherboard revision or it can't be fixed.

yeah i was really hoping to at least be able to use 2933 or even 2667 at this point 2133 sucks

 Nathan Kirsch, in his Why AM4 Motherboards Are Missing [from the market] article, really broke my heart when he mentioned that MSI Titanium doesn't physically have the ability to make finer adjustments to the BClk :shifty:
"but we just found out that the board lacks a CLKGEN (clock generator) on it to adjust the bus frequency for fine tuned overclocking. We were hopeful that was something MSI would enable with a UEFI update, but the board is lacking the physical components to enable it."

I'm still going to keep my order on the board, but what kind further irked me was when I read...
"The good news is that MSI has a new model coming out with this feature to compete with ASUS and Gigabyte, but it is lacking on their current flagship model."

That's... not really "good news" :( heh That's more unfortunate news. They could've at least made provisions for it to accept a tiny daughter-card component that adds the external CLKGEN. However, I'm also hoping that maybe they have the circuit designed into the Titanium but is simply lacking the SMD components (hopefully, though admittedly very unlikely, it'll just need a clock crystal soldered on).

I'm also rather surprised that they [AM4 boards] don't have native support for AMP and XMP memory profiles like in the past. I know a couple have it currently, but it hasn't helped much/any on those boards.
Memory on AM4, period, is a mess, and I'm not even referring to the support problems. The complete lack of subtimings is quite absurd, which by my understanding, is currently AMD holding that back while they try to iron out the general memory compatibility teething issues. Nevertheless, I guess I'm more caught off guard by the lack of timing options, having not experienced that since... geeze... Like 1998 to 2002 era of computing? heh I can't recall if most higher-end DDR-based boards were limited like that, though. Most of my A64 memory tuning I admit was done through Windows with A64Info.exe (best. program. evar!) which DID have all the subtiming options, and BClk, and HyperTransport multi! So I rarely had to even touch the BIOS :p Dear god, please PLEASE someone make the Ryzen equivalent of that program! lol (Ryzen Master program would be great, if they added the subtiming control like OverDrive had)

From what I can tell, best ram performance is in dual channel/ 2sticks and reducing PCIE to gen. 2 for higher memory timing until updates. Any other tweaks?

Nathan Kirsch is a little monkey that pretends that he knows something that the rest of us don't. Its straight forward : New platform, their excuse is perfectly legit. Its a new platform. The bioses seem like they are in alpha stage basically working.
That is ok. Its just a matter of a few weeks. You get what you pay for is a fucking poor excuse for being an idiot shopper at least in the case we are presented with. Excuse my terrible honesty , but pc gamer is also a bunch of fucking women or is it low testosterone men lol. What a fucking creep show.

Well then... that became misogynistic rather suddenly, which was obviously uncalled for, nevermind the fact it clearly contributed absolutely nothing to the discussion.
Prior to that? A little childish at times, but at least it kept itself relevant :\

On a lighter not, one can't help but appreciate that it follows giga's post, which his sig says:
Posters on these boards should consider exercising patience and tolerance. As with all excercise, it builds strength in these positive character attributes. It's never too late for self inprovement.

Quite fitting lol

Right you are, its hard to be objective when so called jurnalists have no objectivity. I'm not interested in their poor opinions, but objectivity that simply is not there. Did I contribute to the discussion. most likely not, but I'm happy we can find humor in it.
Aside from the opinions thrown. Does anyone know if or when can we get the Biostar GT3. Or should I just grab the MSI Titanium. I think that 1800X in a small form factor along with Vega would make a sexy little PC.

Apparently Mobos were shipped by slow boat. Another Intel channel sabotage feat. Next week the big shipments come in.
