BIOS help Please

You only have two choices for bios for that board. Late 2014 was the last update.

You may want to check the bird supports the cpu first.

In order to flash the bios you need to download the bios file . All of the software needed is found on the support section of your link above.


Install the app center
Install the Bios plugin for app center
Open Bios, select the bios file you downloaded earlier.


Follow the prompts, let it do its thing. When finished it will ask to restart.

Done.
 
I don't know that you'd actually have to update the bios if you didn't want to. That board supports that CPU from the 1st bios revision.

I had that board. GB is a little deceptive about the revisions. If you're going to flash the bios, make sure you get the right revision and don't just go by the model number.

F1 is the first bios to support this chip , F1 or higher means you don't have to.
