Big Progress in FAH Daily Production

jfb9301 , tried those links with no succcess.

Grandpa_01, I did change the URL and restarted the application. It did not parse those projects though. They're still missing.

I downloaded a modified ProjectInfo.tab that has a LOT more projects than what mine did, but it too didn't contain and of the current projects my GPUs are working on.

Grandpa_01, can you send me your ProjectInfo.tab if it's complete?

Look in your PM I sent you a dropbox link, Hopefully you can get it.

Sweet that worked! HFM is now reporting 1.8M PPD... not sure that's accurate.

Well I moved one of the GPUs to my NAS and things seem to be working fine. Guess using an 16x PCI-e slot in 4x mode makes a big difference. Right now my past 24H average is 1.4M and yesterday I did 1.1M.

Thanks for the help everyone! :)

@skillz:

You might want to check your latest config; there is a new user slillz which is just a thick finger away from your donor name. Maybe a typo ?

Update: just saw you might saw it already. Last days are zero

Added more D.....

My RMAed GTX970 is installed and crunching.

I finally mowed Vanilla_Heat. Sorry bout that.
You guys are gonna cost me a fortune I had to order a 980 today....
What's your FAH name?
Vanilla_Heat

Dang it. ExtremeOverclocking seems to be broken. No updates since the 6A update. What the heck?

It's not just EOC......

The "new" Kakao Stats is not updating either.

Blame it on Stanford, not like they would care anyway.

Weekend ... Maybe Monday ? When is Thanks Giving ? Might take even longer ... (I see, next week)

As long we get assignments and results gets accepted let them enjoy their weekend.

Stats are working again, even though it's Stanford's 2 week break. EOC updated past @3PM and 6PM.

Damn, with my change of donor ID, team and passkey a place on page one is still some time away.
And Grandma mows anybody anyway.

Doesn't look like you've been folding much for the past week. Something wrong?

Congrats on (essentially) making it to page one. Warning though, the grass gets really tall on page one.......

Was on business trip on a different continent and didn't wanted the box unmonitored ... Plus I need to swap my 970 ... Hope to back soon. Should change my day job and apply to the opening at PG ;-)

Does anyone want to do a comparison between clients and point rewards? I ask because I only fold on two very underwhelming old machines. One is a dual core HT netbook (4 threads) and one is an old single core Celeron. The devices are used for special personal projects, so basically are just there eating electricity anyways. So... here is what I saw happen.

I was running NaCl in the Chrome browser on both for multiple months. Then I decided to install the v7 client so that I didn't have to keep loading the Chrome browser at pc startup. When I switched, I noticed the points drop to 20% or less of what I was getting with the NaCl client. Has anyone done any comparisons between these? What were your results? After switching both systems back to NaCl, the points seem to be rising again...

I am curious as to if this is just something I'm experiencing on old slow hardware or if it transitions to more modern gear too.

I don't fold on my CPUs so I can't make a comparison. Interesting find though.

Nevermind I found it. Interesting that those WU's are only good for 125 points each.

Could be wrong but I don't think there's a QRB on the NaCl wus. Might be why you get better ppd vs the regular wus on your slow machines.

Hmm..that makes me wonder where the sweet spot is for hardware that should be put on NaCl vs running the client for QRB. Just a curiosity really.
