BFBC2 DX11 Load, 197.41

Why is it so damn slow? I saw this gem on afterburner, why the hell does it do this. It also downclocks in the menus but that's understandable. My load takes literally 4 times as long as my brother's 5870 on the same settings, even when he turns off eyefinity.

humm maybe bfbc2 loading time on 5870 are due to dx11 error then that would be one of the reason why it loading so long. as for why taking 4 times as long as a 5870 only thing i can possibly think of the hdd thrashing. what the current fragmentation rate on main drive ?

It has something to do with DX11, BFBC2 and the new cards. ATI had the same problem but managed to fix it in a recent beta driver, so maybe your brother is using those.

I removed DX11 from my system, it was causing BSOD's all over the place. Runs like a champ on DX10. I'll just wait for some new drivers...

I'm having the same problems with single GTX470 and SLI setup. I agree that the DX11 and drivers are the problem as DX10 works quite well.
