BF2142 SLI Question

I've read a few posts here and there that older Nvida drivers will not have a BF2142 profile so SLI will not be enabled or will not have optimum performance. Someone said just rename the BF2142.exe to BF2.exe and you will see a big performance increase, other said just create a new profile. Also I just read a few minutes ago that if you download the latest driver from Nvidia the BF2142 profile should be added. Anyone know for sure if the latest drivers on the Nvida site have the new BF2142 profile? How do you create a new profile for BF2142 with existing drivers?

I've also been wondering about this, but you made a thread before I could :)

So does renaming the 2142 file work?
