I see a LOT of those on that local page here in Utah...people that either want to scam others or just have no idea of what real prices are like lol
 
Utah is bad when it comes to anything for sale second hand. The car/car mods market here is horrible and sadly the electronics market isn't much better. I can buy parts for my subaru outside the state and pay less including shipping costs :p
 
I have good luck buying and selling on KSL. Never tried buying PC parts however, lol.
 
Yeah is not easy to spot good deals but you can get some. Heck, I got my Sony A7ii WITH the FE 55mm 1.8 lens for $1300 which after I sold the body (I already had it) meant that I got the lens for $15 :D
The same way I have gotten a few things here and there but for the most part people want insane money for their used stuff lol
