Looking for the best turn based RPG for Nintendo Switch?

Something that was released last year and is cheaper - $15-$20 would be a great addition but I'm open to anything new too. Going to be on my butt for a while post surgery.

Not a whole lot I can think of that would be <= $20 except:

Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy IX

Go up to $30 and you get more options:

The Banner Saga Trilogy
Battle Chasers: Nightwar
Darkest Dungeon
Earthlock
South Park: The Stick of Truth
Wasteland 2
 
Definitely a +1 for FF IX. Banner Saga is a great option, as is Battle Chasers (I bought it not too long ago and love the atmosphere and gameplay). All will keep you plenty busy and engaged.

Octopath Traveler is a little up there in price, but it’s a very worthy addition to any Switch lineup. It’s got all the goodies that made old school JRPG’s great, with a fantastic art style
