What is the best alternative to Samsung SSD drives? I want some 2TB SSD drives to top off my system and get rid of all the mechanical shady drives I have which take too long to access when I run them silent.

My go to brands are Samsung > intel > Crucial I had some luck with finding good deals on Samsung 2TB QVO drives which are fine for what I use them for (got one for 149 € on Amazon when they opened their dutch store)

Guess it depends a bit on what kind of drive you want but most reputable brands should be fine.

Best in what way?

SM controllers paired with Micron 64L TLC NAND tend to lead the read metrics at low QDs even over Samsung drives. Weakness comparatively, especially with the controller, is write performance as the drive fills.

More recent Crucial drives are pretty good for cheap stuff I've found.

I doubt you'll notice a difference between any of them. Buy on price and warranty.
